Overview of the SureFire HL1 MICH Helmet Mount | HLM-01-TN

The SureFire HL1 MICH Helmet Mount (HLM-01-TN) is a low-profile tan ratchet mount that clamps to the rim of a Modular Integrated Communications Helmet (MICH) and holds a SureFire HL1 HelmetLight. Use it to replace a cracked or worn factory mount, or to set up a second helmet so one light moves between them.

Your light slides on and locks in place. A lever on the mount releases it for a battery change, servicing, or transfer.

Hands-Free Light Where You Look

SureFire builds 20 preset positions into the mount, so you can turn the light a full 360 degrees and click it exactly where you need it. Soldiers, SWAT operators, and search and rescue teams keep both hands free for weapons, radios, maps, and patients.

Compatibility

• Helmets: Designed for MICH helmets. SureFire's product text also lists the ACH, LWH, and PASGT helmets.
• Lights: Built for SureFire HL1 HelmetLights. It is not a universal clamp for other brands' helmet lights.
• Ops-Core helmets: For Ops-Core helmets or ARC rails, choose the SureFire HL1 HelmetLight Adapter ADPT-HL1-OC instead.
• Rails: This mount clamps to the helmet rim. It does not attach to Picatinny rails.
• Tools: Installation uses two socket-head machine screws, so keep the matching hex key on hand.

Military service members use the HLM-01-TN to run an HL1 HelmetLight on a MICH helmet for night movement, map reading, and close work. SWAT and tactical team officers mount it for hands-free light during searches and breaches. Search and rescue crews rely on it when both hands are busy with ropes, litters, or patients.
