Two Ways to Run Your Scout Light

The SureFire DS07 is a waterproof dual switch tailcap assembly for SureFire Scout Light® WeaponLights. It pairs a click on/off push-button tailcap with a plug-in ST07 remote tape switch on a 7-inch cable, so one weapon light switch gives you both constant-on and momentary-on control. Order part number DS07 in black or DS07-TN in tan.

A tailcap button alone makes you shift your support hand to work the light. The DS07 puts a momentary-on pressure pad where your hand already rests on the handguard, while the tailcap stays ready as a backup.

Compatibility

• Fits: SureFire Scout Light WeaponLights that use the standard Scout tailcap, including M600 and M300 series lights such as the SureFire M600U Scout Light, the SureFire M600V Scout Light, and the SureFire M300C Scout Light.
• Scout Light Pro: retailers report that Scout Light Pro models shipped with the Z68 tailcap, such as the SureFire Scout Light Pro M640U, accept DS-series tailcaps.
• Replaces: the factory click tailcap, such as the SureFire Z68 Tailcap.
• Rifles and carbines: the 7-inch cable reaches the handguard on most rifle and carbine setups, according to SureFire.
• Environments: rain, snow, mud, and wet training conditions.
• Does not fit: SureFire X-series handgun lights (see SureFire DG Switches), the Micro Scout Light Pro, or lights from other brands.
• Other options: choose the SureFire DS00 Tail Switch for the tailcap alone, or the SureFire UE07 Switch Assembly for a remote-only tailcap.
