The Hatch Street Guard SGK100 is a cut-resistant tactical police duty glove with a Kevlar inner-palm liner, an embossed synthetic leather palm, and a stretch back of hand. Hatch builds it for patrol officers who need hand protection without losing the feel of their equipment.

You reach into a pocket during a pat-down, clear broken glass from a crash scene, or grab a fence line on a foot pursuit. The SGK100 puts a layer of Kevlar between your palm and the edge, and it still lets you work a radio, cuffs, and your duty weapon.

Hatch lists an EN388:2016 rating of 1241C, which includes ISO cut level C. Hatch notes that cut-resistant gloves are not cut-proof.

Compatibility

• Duty weapons and tools: the thin palm works with handguns, Tasers, handcuffs, flashlights, and radios.
• Environments: patrol, traffic, crash scenes, searches, and range use in mild to cool weather.
• Not cut-proof: Hatch states cut ratings come from lab testing and do not guarantee real-world performance.
• Not for needlesticks or fire: the SGK100 is not rated for needle puncture or flame. For flame resistance, choose the Hatch Street Guard FR Tactical Duty Gloves. For needlestick protection, look at the Hatch PPG2 ArmorTip Gloves or the Hatch Friskmaster MAX Gloves.
• Not insulated: this is a duty glove, not a winter glove.

Intended Users

Patrol officers and sheriff's deputies wear the SGK100 for pat-downs, vehicle searches, and arrests where hidden blades may be present. Corrections officers use it for cell searches and inmate contact. Security officers, tow operators, and first responders wear it when they handle broken glass, sheet metal, or debris. Civilian shooters and riders also choose it for grip and dexterity.
