Compatibility

The Model 65 is built for 2 inch (50mm) and 2.25 inch (58mm) outer duty belts. Select the belt width that matches your Sam Browne belt, because a keeper sized for a 2 inch belt will not close correctly over a 2.25 inch belt. It wraps both the outer duty belt and the garrison or trouser belt worn underneath, then snaps closed.

Finish and hardware should match the rest of your rig. Basket weave keepers pair with basket weave belts and pouches, hi gloss pairs with hi gloss, and nylon look is the match for nylon duty gear.

Limitations Worth Knowing

• This is a solid keeper with no slot, so it is not a substitute for a slotted keeper such as the Model 654 when your setup requires one.
• It will not fit belts wider than 2.25 inches.
• It is not designed for hook and loop or MOLLE style battle belts.
• In this listing, the 2 inch belt width is stocked only in Plain with chrome snaps and Basket Weave with chrome or brass snaps. Nylon Look is offered in 2.25 inch only.
