SABRE Practice Pepper Spray Key Case, Inert, Twist Lock STU-HC-00

Overview of the SABRE Practice Spray with Twist Lock | STU-HC-00

Practice Before You Carry

The SABRE Practice Spray with Twist Lock (STU-HC-00) is an inert, water-based training canister in a 0.54 oz key case. It lets you rehearse every step of carrying and firing a SABRE key case pepper spray without exposing anyone to OC.

Most people who buy pepper spray never fire it until the moment they need it. That is when a locked safety or a backward nozzle costs you seconds. SABRE states this unit deploys and feels like a live canister, so you can repeat the twist, aim, and press until it becomes automatic.

Built for Realistic Reps

• Twist lock safety that matches SABRE live key case models
• 12 to 14 ft stream for distance practice, per SABRE
• About 10 seconds of total spray time for several short bursts
• Key ring attachment so you train the draw straight from your keys

It suits first-time carriers, self-defense instructors, and families who want to practice together.

Key Features

• Inert water-based formula: Contains no OC, CS, or other irritant. SABRE states it will not affect the target during training.
• Twist lock safety: Rotate the top to unlock, the same motion you use on a SABRE live key case spray.
• Ergonomic finger grip: Helps you orient the nozzle by feel, even in low light.
• Powerful stream pattern: SABRE rates the range at 12 to 14 feet, so you can practice from a safer distance.
• 10 seconds of total spray time: Enough for multiple short practice bursts.
• Key ring attachment: Clip it to your keys and practice the full draw-and-spray motion.
• Free training resources: The package includes links to SABRE training videos and safety tips, plus a practice target on the back of the card.
• Made in the USA: SABRE manufactures this practice spray in the United States.

Compatibility

• Matches SABRE key case sprays: The twist lock and grip mirror the Sabre Key Case Pepper Spray with Quick Release Key Ring and the Sabre 3-In-1 Key Case Pepper Spray HC-14-SC.
• Training only: This canister has no active ingredient. Do not carry it for self-defense.
• Single canister: The 0.54 oz charge empties in about 10 seconds of total spraying. Buy one per student for group classes.
• Other formats: For a different practice style, see the Sabre Practice Inert Pepper Spray STU-R-00. Agencies training with belt-size canisters should choose the Sabre H2O Inert Training Unit in 0.69, 1.8, or 3.3 oz.

Intended Users

New pepper spray owners use this practice spray to learn the twist lock and aim before they carry a live SABRE key case unit. Self-defense and personal safety instructors use it to run hands-on drills where students fire at a target without exposure to OC. College students, runners, and seniors who carry spray on their keys can rehearse the draw from a key ring. Security guards and campus safety staff can refresh their deployment skills between certifications.
