Kershaw Launch 4 Auto Folding Knife 7500BLK

Overview of the Kershaw Launch 4 Automatic Knife | 7500

The Kershaw Launch 4 Automatic Knife (MPN 7500) is the perfect proof that you do not need a massive blade to carry a high-performance tool. While it is short on blade length, it is exceptionally tall on style and utility. This bestseller features a 1.9 inch blade, making it California-legal and compliant in many other jurisdictions where larger automatic knives are restricted. Whether you are navigating strict local regulations or simply prefer a minimalist carry, the Launch 4 offers the speed and reliability of a professional-grade automatic folder.

Premium Materials and Finish

Your cutting tasks are handled by upgraded CPM 154 powdered metallurgy steel, which provides a superior balance of edge retention, toughness, and corrosion resistance. Current production models are finished with a black Cerakote coating, offering enhanced protection against wear and chemicals compared to older DLC versions. The handle is machined from 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, ensuring the knife remains incredibly lightweight at just 1.8 ounces while maintaining a solid, comfortable grip for any task.

Designed for the Field

This tool is built for those who require immediate readiness. Law enforcement officers, forensic investigators, and EMS professionals rely on the Launch 4 for its discreet size and powerful opening kick. The low-profile push button is recessed to make it harder for the blade to deploy accidentally in your pocket. Proudly made in the USA, the 7500 is a field-tested solution for users who demand American craftsmanship in a compact, everyday carry package.

Key Features

• California-Legal Blade: The 1.9 inch spear point blade meets specific legal requirements for automatic carry in restricted areas.

• Upgraded CPM 154 Steel: A premium powdered steel that takes an excellent edge and offers high resistance to wear and rust. Keep it razor sharp with our knife sharpening tools.

• Durable Cerakote Coating: Current 7500 models feature a non-reflective Cerakote finish for maximum blade protection.

• Lightweight Aluminum Handle: Machined from 6061-T6 aluminum with a black anodized finish for a sleek, professional look.

• Rapid Push-Button Action: Provides a fast and reliable deployment with a strong internal spring.

• Secure Button Lock: Keeps the blade firmly locked in the open position during use to ensure your safety.

• Minimalist Pocket Clip: Features a single-position pocket clip (right side, tip-up) for secure and discreet carry.

• American Craftsmanship: Designed and manufactured in the USA and backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Compatibility

The Kershaw Launch 4 is compatible with a wide variety of everyday carry (EDC) setups. Its slim profile, with a closed length of only 3.2 inches, allows it to fit perfectly into watch pockets, tactical gear pouches, or professional uniforms. Please note that the pocket clip is fixed for right-hand, tip-up carry and is not reversible. It is ideally suited for environments where a small, non-intimidating, yet highly capable automatic tool is required.

Intended Users

This knife is specifically designed for users who need a legal-to-carry automatic knife without sacrificing performance. Law enforcement officers often use the Launch 4 as a reliable backup blade that stays out of the way until needed. EMS personnel and forensic investigators value the precision of the spear point blade for intricate tasks in the field. It is also a top choice for citizens in California or other regions with strict blade length laws who want a high-quality, American-made pocketknife that they can carry with confidence every day.
