Ka-Bar D2 Extreme Clip Point Knife 1283

The illustrated KABAR Knife is the KABAR D2 Extreme Knife that features a 7-part serrated clip point blade made of D2 steel, .165 thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 59-60. The blade of this KABAR Knife has a non-reflective black epoxy powder coat, a blood groove, and a USA tang stamp. The grooved oval black Kraton G handle (almost impervious to sweat, chemicals, and water) has a powder-coated metal butt cap and guard. A MOLLE-compatible nylon/Cordura sheath with a front pouch is included with this KABAR Knife. The KABAR D2 Extreme Knife has an overall length of 11 7/8 and it weighs .75 pounds.
Cutting tests prove that D2 is one of the toughest steels used in knife making. Featured here in the classic clip point blade shape that made KA-BAR famous. A partially serrated edge makes cutting looped and synthetic materials a breeze. Tang stamped the USA. Leather sheath included. Made in the USA.
