Overview of the Fox Labs Mean Green 3 oz Cone Fog Spray | 36MGC
The Fox Labs International Mean Green 36MGC is a 3 oz cone fog pepper spray built for duty belts, vehicles, and serious self-defense carry. It pairs a water-based 6% OC formula with a green staining dye that marks anyone you spray.
Picture a confrontation in a dark parking lot. The attacker runs before help arrives. With Mean Green, that person leaves wearing green dye that helps officers pick them out later.

Key Features
-
Staining green dye: Fox Labs states its Mean Green resin is so pure it is nearly clear, which let the company add a visible green dye for assailant identification.
-
Cone fog pattern: Sprays a broad mist that reaches 15 to 18 feet, according to Fox Labs.
-
Measured heat: Fox Labs rates the resin at 3,000,000 SHU with 20.4% major capsaicinoids, and the output at no less than 180,000 SHU and 1.22% major capsaicinoids.
-
Spring-loaded flip top: The cap snaps back over the actuator to help prevent accidental discharge.

Safety and Specification Sheets
Compatibility
-
Holders: Choose a belt holder or pouch sized for a 1.5 inch diameter canister that is 5.75 inches tall. Confirm the fit before you order a holder.
-
Environments: Cone fog works best at close range. Wind can push a fog back toward you, so position yourself upwind when you can.
-
Training: Practice the draw and flip top with an inert unit such as the Fox Labs Water-Based Inert Training OC 105FTSDB.
-
Exclusions: This canister is too large for a keychain. Federal rules bar pepper spray on your person or in carry-on bags on passenger aircraft. Some states limit the size or formula of civilian defense sprays, so check your state and local rules before you order.
-
Other sizes and patterns: Need a stream? See the Fox Labs Mean Green 3 oz Stream 36MGS. Want a smaller cone fog? See the Fox Labs Mean Green 1.5 oz Cone Fog 156MGC. For an oil-based option, compare the Fox Labs One Point Four 4 oz.
Intended Users
Patrol officers and deputies carry the 3 oz Mean Green as a duty belt OC option with dye that helps identify suspects who flee. Corrections officers and detention staff rely on its capacity of 34 to 36 bursts for extended encounters. Security guards, loss prevention officers, and bail enforcement agents use it as a less lethal tool on patrol. Civilians keep it in a vehicle, nightstand, or bag for self-defense, including tow operators, delivery drivers, and night shift workers.
