Overview of the Fox Labs Mark 8 11 Gram OC Canister | 11C
The Fox Labs International Mark 8 pepper spray canister (MPN 11C) packs the Five Point Three 2% OC formula into an 11 gram unit just 3 inches tall. Fox Labs says this formula is carried by police, corrections officers, and the U.S. military.
A full-size spray does you no good if it stays home because it is too bulky. This compact splatter stream canister rides in a shirt pocket, boot, or glove box, so it is in your hand when a close encounter turns bad.
Built for Close-In Defense
-
Splatter stream reaches 8 to 10 feet, per Fox Labs.
-
5.3 million SHU oil-based formula with invisible UV marking dye.
-
Nonflammable and Taser safe, so you can carry it alongside a CEW.
Who Carries It
Off-duty police carry it as a backup spray. Walkers, cyclists, and commuters carry it for everyday self-defense.

Compatibility
-
Carry options: Fits a shirt pocket, boot, glove box, purse, or small pouch.
-
Canister only: This listing is the bare canister. It does not include a hard-shell key chain case or key ring.
-
Duty use: The Taser safe rating lets officers carry it with a CEW on the same belt.
-
Range limits: Built for close-in encounters within 10 feet. For longer standoff distance, choose a larger Fox Labs stream unit.
Intended Users
Security guards and loss prevention officers carry the Mark 8 as a low-profile backup to a duty canister. Corrections officers and off-duty law enforcement use it when a full-size spray is too bulky for plain clothes. Civilians who walk, run, bike, or commute alone carry it for personal self defense. Tow operators and public works crews keep one in the truck for close-range encounters on the job.
What's Included
- One (1) Fox Labs Mark 8 11 gram OC canister, MPN 11C
