Overview of the ESS Crossbow Suppressor ONE
Ballistic Eyewear Built to Work Under Ear Cups
The ESS Crossbow Suppressor ONE (EE9007-04 Clear, EE9007-03 Smoke Gray, 740-0472 Hi-Def Copper) is a ballistic safety glasses kit made for shooters and operators who wear earmuffs or headset communications. Standard temple arms break the ear cup seal, let noise in, and press into your head an hour into range day.
ESS states the Suppressor was the first spectacle frame designed for ear cup hearing protection. Its Z-Bend Geometry temples are ultra-thin, so your ear cups seal flat and the pressure points go away.

-
Z-Bend Geometry temples: Ultra-thin arms help keep the padded ear cup seal intact and remove the hot spots that standard eyewear causes under earmuffs.

-
ClearZone FlowCoat lens treatment: Anti-fog coating inside and anti-scratch coating outside.
-
ESSOPTICS clarity: ESS states its lenses deliver distortion-free optics.
-
DedBolt Lens Lock: Pivots open for quick lens swaps and locks shut for rock-solid retention under impact.
-
Ballistic and safety rated: Compliant with U.S. MIL SPEC MIL-PRF-32432, ANSI Z87.1, CE EN 166, and U.S. Federal OSHA.
-
100% UVA/UVB protection: Every ESS lens blocks harmful UV rays.

Compatibility
-
Hearing protection: Built for passive earmuffs, electronic earmuffs, and ear cup communication headsets.
-
Lenses: Accepts all ESS Crossbow lenses. Shop the ESS Crossbow Replacement Lens to add a second color or replace a scratched lens.
-
Prescription: Accepts the ESS U-RX insert, which mounts behind the primary lens. ESS fills single-vision prescriptions with sphere values from -10 to +8. The insert is not included.
-
Lens choice: Smoke Gray and Hi-Def Copper are tinted lenses. For indoor ranges, low light, or night work, choose Clear.
-
Not for you if: You rarely wear ear cups. The standard ESS Crossbow ONE uses thicker Tri-Tech Fit temples made for everyday wear without hearing protection.
Intended Users
Law enforcement firearms instructors and range officers wear the Suppressor ONE through full days of qualification with earmuffs on. SWAT and tactical team members use it under comms headsets and electronic hearing protection. Military personnel get eyewear that meets MIL-PRF-32432 and still seals under ear cups. Competitive shooters, hunters, and airsoft players who shoot in earmuffs get comfort that lasts. Public works crews and equipment operators who wear earmuffs around loud machinery get ANSI Z87.1 eye protection that does not fight their ear protection.

Available at WCUniforms
WCUniforms, the trade name of West Coast Uniforms and Accessories, Inc., has served public safety professionals from San Diego, California since 2013 and ships this ESS eyewear from our Michigan warehouse to customers across the United States. WCUniforms is owned by a U.S. Marine veteran and a U.S. Coast Guard veteran who also served as a city police officer and EMT, so we know why eye protection and hearing protection have to work together. Unlike standard safety glasses, the Suppressor ONE is built around your ear cups instead of fighting them.
