The Elbeco BodyShield External Vest Carrier V4 solves all of that by moving your ballistic protection over your uniform in a shell that looks like it belongs there.

Built from 600 Denier Syntex 100% Polyester Tropical Weave with a UPF 50, anti-microbial lining, the BodyShield V4 is available in Black (V4110B), Tan (V4112B), and Midnight Navy (V4114B) across four torso lengths. The Version 4 design adds 2" knit elastic side extensions and a reinforced FastLock side closure system so the carrier conforms to your body without fighting you every time you move.

Compatibility

The Elbeco BodyShield V4 (V4110B / V4112B / V4114B) is factory-certified to work with ballistic panels from any body armor manufacturer. You are not locked into an Elbeco armor system.

Sizing and Torso Length

Four torso lengths are available in each color: Short, Regular, Long, and X-Long. Size availability by colorway:

• Black (V4110B): XS to 4XL Regular; S to 5XL Long; S to L Short; L to 6XL X-Long
• Tan (V4112B): XS to 4XL Regular; S to 5XL Long; S to M Short; L to 6XL X-Long
• Midnight Navy (V4114B): XS to 4XL Regular; S to 5XL Long; S to 2XL Short; L to 6XL X-Long

Elbeco recommends measuring your ballistic carrier with panels inserted at the widest point of the front panel to determine the correct external carrier size. An in-person fitting before making any alterations is strongly encouraged.

VSS1 Suspension System

Interior tunnel loops are sized to accept the Elbeco VSS1 Suspension System (sold separately). The VSS1 routes free-floating shoulder straps through the vest tunnels, redirecting duty belt weight off the hips and lower back. An optional crosspiece provides additional stability for heavier configurations.

Exclusions

This carrier is an armor carrier only. Ballistic panels and the VSS1 Suspension System are not included. The carrier does not provide ballistic protection on its own.
