NVG and Optics Mounts

The FAST Bump's Molded-In Front Mount uses the standard MARSOC/WARCOM 3-hole NVD mount pattern and is compatible with the following night vision and mount arm combinations:

ARC Rail Accessory Zones

The 4-position PowerPath ARC rails on the A15057 provide three distinct mounting zones. The top rail accepts Picatinny adapters for any device compatible with the 1913 Picatinny standard, and Wing-Loc adapters for a wide range of headborne accessories. The rail corner provides snap-in attachment for Para-Flite and Carleton O2 masks using the O2 Single Strap Kit (sold separately). The back rail accepts 36mm Goggle Swivel Clips (sold separately), which allow full rotational freedom while the goggles remain clipped in.

Communication Headsets and Hearing Protection

The Vented Lux Liner is compatible with a wide variety of headband-style comms headsets and hearing protection devices. When installing a headband-style comms system, first relocate the top EPP pads to create space for the headset headband, then route the headband outside the fitband before re-securing the fitband comfort pad. This positions the headband outside the Occ-Dial tightening path and eliminates pressure points during extended wear.

Sizing

Use head circumference measured with a flexible tape approximately one inch above the eyebrows. The bottom of the fitband should sit 0.5 to 1 inch above the brow line. If the Occ-Dial digs into the back of the neck, slide the rear fitband liner tabs upward to raise the dial. If between sizes, size up and use the Occ-Dial to bring the fit in. Custom chinstrap sizing is available at the time of ordering for non-standard head configurations.

The FAST Bump ARC rails are also compatible with Ops-Core Up-Armor Side Covers (ballistic and non-ballistic versions) and the Gunsight Mandible for additional face and side coverage. Both attach tool-free to the ARC rails in under one minute.

Not a Ballistic Helmet

The FAST Bump (A15057) provides certified blunt impact protection but does not offer ballistic, fragmentation, or projectile protection. It is not a substitute for ballistic helmet systems such as the Ops-Core FAST SF High Cut or FAST MT. Evaluate your threat environment before selecting this helmet.

Safety and Limitations

This helmet provides limited protection for the head and does not protect against neck, spinal, or certain brain injuries, including those caused by rotational forces. Some hazards can exceed this helmet's rated protective capability. Any helmet subjected to severe impact should be replaced before further use, even if damage is not readily visible. Inspect the shell, liner, fitband, ARC rails, and chin strap before each use and replace any damaged components immediately.
