ASP Sentry Handcuff Key Standard Handcuffs 81200

Overview of the ASP Sentry Handcuff Key | 81200

The Duty Tool That Earns Its Spot Every Shift

When you need to release a subject quickly and cleanly, a flimsy handcuff key is the last thing you want in your pocket. The ASP Sentry Handcuff Key 81200 solves that problem with a precision-built, hammer-forged stainless steel key engineered for the demands of full-time duty use.

Built the Way Professionals Expect

ASP manufactures the Sentry with heat-treated stainless steel, a plastic overmold body, and a diamond-pattern knurled grip that locks into your fingers even when your hands are wet or gloved. A secure pocket clip keeps it clipped to your shirt, pocket, or gear bag and ready in an instant. The images confirm a dual-end design: one end carries the standard key bit, and the opposite end features ASP's exclusive backset tip that speeds up insertion into tight keyways.

A Standard That Fits Your Entire Arsenal

At 4 inches long and compatible with all standard-series handcuffs, including ASP's own line, MPN 81200 is a no-compromise everyday carry key for law enforcement officers, corrections officers, security professionals, and anyone whose job puts handcuffs on their belt.

• Most major-brand standard handcuffs used in law enforcement and corrections in the United States

Intended Users

The ASP Sentry is built for working professionals who carry handcuffs as part of their daily duty gear. Law enforcement officers and state troopers rely on it because it survives the punishment of a full duty belt shift after shift. Corrections officers and court bailiffs appreciate the backset feature when they need to process a subject quickly and efficiently. Security officers and loss prevention agents carry it as a compact, low-profile tool that clips out of sight until needed.

Probation officers, sheriff's deputies, detectives, and bounty hunters and bail enforcement agents also reach for the Sentry because it works across handcuff brands without a second thought. Police academy recruits use it to learn proper key technique with a tool they will carry throughout their career. If you depend on handcuffs to do your job, the Sentry belongs on your person.
