Llave Esposas ASP Giratoria S1 56252

Detalles:
  • Acero reforzado
  • Cuerpo giratorio mecanizado con precisión
  • Llave con entrada termotratada

Frequently Asked Questions about ASP Swivel S1 Handcuff Key 56252

Will the ASP Swivel S1 Handcuff Key open my handcuffs?

Yes, if your handcuffs use a standard keyway. The ASP Swivel S1 fits standard cuffs and leg irons from ASP, Smith & Wesson, and most duty brands. High security cuffs, like the S&W Model 104, need a matching key.

What is the difference between the ASP S1 and S2 swivel handcuff keys?

The grip is the difference. The S1 has a machined aluminum body with a knurled grip, while the S2 adds an overmolded textured grip. Both use a heat-treated stainless key, the BackSet tooth, and a 360 degree swivel bail.

Why use a swivel handcuff key instead of the key that came with my cuffs?

A swivel key gives you more reach and better control. The S1 is about 4 inches long, so your hand stays clear of the cuff, and the swivel head lets the key turn freely on your key ring.

What does the ASP BackSet feature do on a handcuff key?

BackSet helps you find the handcuff keyway fast. ASP states this patented tooth design allows rapid location of the keyway, which helps when a subject is moving, light is poor, or you are wearing gloves.

Can the ASP Swivel S1 key set the double lock on handcuffs?

Yes. The ASP Swivel S1 has a double lock pin at the head of the key, so you can set and release the double lock on standard handcuffs without reaching for a separate tool.
