This magazine fits the P226, P226X, and P226XCA chambered in 9mm Luger. It is not compatible with P226 variants chambered in .40 S&W or .357 SIG, as those calibers use a different magazine design. For concealed carry, duty carry, and situations where a clean draw is critical, flush-fit magazines like the MAG-226-9-10 are generally preferred.

To maintain your P226 magazine, press the baseplate release, slide the baseplate off, and remove the spring and follower for inspection. Wipe the inside of the magazine body, the follower, and the spring with a clean cloth to remove debris, carbon, and moisture. Apply a light coat of lubricant to the spring and follower if needed, and avoid submerging the magazine in solvents that can strip protective finishes. Periodic disassembly and cleaning is recommended, especially after range sessions in dusty or humid environments.

This magazine has a 10-round capacity, which is at or below the limit allowed in most states with capacity restrictions, including California's 10-round maximum.
