Frequently Asked Questions about Posse Box Clipboard Flex Light PL10

What batteries does the Posse Box PL10 Clipboard Flex Light use?

The PL10 uses 2 AA batteries, which are not included. AA cells are easy to find at any store, so you can keep spares in your patrol bag, glove box, or ambulance.

Will the PL10 Flex Light fit my clipboard?

The PL10 is built for Posse Box gear. Posse Box states it clips on all POSSE equipment, including clipboards, clipboard boxes, and form holders. The manufacturer does not list fit for other clipboard brands.

Does the clipboard flex light protect night vision?

Yes. Posse Box states the PL10 uses a shielded bulb that helps protect night vision. The shield aims light at your forms instead of your eyes.

Is a clipboard light or a headlamp better for report writing?

A clipboard light is better for steady report writing because it stays aimed at the page when you turn your head. A headlamp follows your gaze and can light up the whole vehicle cab.

What is the difference between the silver and black PL10?

Only the finish differs. PL10-CA is silver and PL10-PC-BLK has a powder coated black finish. Both share the same flexible neck, shielded white bulb, and 2 AA battery design.
