Frequently Asked Questions about Monadnock LAPD/NYPD Stop Cord Zipper Pull

What does the Monadnock LAPD/NYPD Stop Cord Zipper Pull do?

It adds a stop and a wrist retention cord to a straight baton in one part. Monadnock drills a hole through the stop and anchors the cord to it, so you can loop the cord around your wrist.

Does the Monadnock 2716 baton stop come with a baton?

No, the baton is not included. You receive one stop with the cord attached. WCUniforms sells Monadnock straight batons separately, including polycarbonate and wood models.

What is the difference between a baton stop with cord and a plain baton grommet?

A baton stop with cord adds wrist retention, while a plain grommet only adds a stop. Choose the 2716 if you want both in one part, or a plain grommet if you carry your baton without a cord.

What kind of baton is the Monadnock 2716 stop made for?

The Monadnock 2716 is made for straight batons in the LAPD and NYPD style, not side-handle or expandable batons. Monadnock does not publish an inside diameter, so confirm your baton's shaft size before ordering.

What are the part numbers for the Monadnock LAPD stop with cord?

The model number is 2716 and the manufacturer part number is 1000187. The UPC is 792298008676, and the WCUniforms SKU is MON-1000187.
