The Monadnock 1000206 holder fits 1-inch diameter PR-24® style batons and Monadnock Control Device batons in 21-inch and 24-inch lengths. It does not fit straight expandable batons, which require a different holder designed without a side-handle cutout. Always confirm your baton's shaft diameter before ordering.

A PR-24 baton holder is specifically designed to accommodate the offset side handle of the PR-24 format, which prevents the baton from seating correctly in a standard straight-baton holder. A straight baton holder lacks the geometry to hold a PR-24 at a consistent, secure angle, and using the wrong holder creates a draw hazard and can damage the baton. Always match your holder to your baton type.

Yes. The molded tension spring and swivel lock mechanism allow you to re-holster the baton whether it is in the open (expanded) or closed position. The holder locks into your chosen position first, and the baton seats against the spring whether the shaft is extended or retracted.

The recommended belt width is 2.75 inches (6.99 cm). An adhesive foam pad is included with the holder and can be cut to size to fill the gap on narrower belts, making it compatible with most standard duty belts ranging from approximately 2.25 inches to 2.75 inches wide.
