No. UP65G contains two 1911AI inserts. The UpLULA and 22UpLULA loaders are sold separately.


Which magazines work with the 1911AI?

Maglula lists .45-caliber 1911 and .40-caliber 1911-wide magazines with UpLULA. Supported 9mm single-stack magazines also work. Converted .22 LR 1911-wide magazines use the insert with 22UpLULA.

What is the magazine width limit?

Use the insert with magazines under 14.5 mm (0.57 inch) wide. Wider magazines will not fit.

How does the 1911AI attach?

Connect the insert to the loader’s ring, then click it onto the loader base. Release it when loading compatible wide-body magazines.

Do S&W Shield or Glock 42 magazines need it?

No. Maglula states that those magazines do not require the 1911AI when used with the UpLULA loader.
